Elke Lina Krüger

Elke Lina Krüger, born on November 20, 1957, began her artistic journey in Wiesbaden after studying modern art at the Free Art School. From 2003 to 2008, she worked at the B71 Artist House in Offenbach am Main and served on the board of the "Die Palette Frankfurt" art association. Mentored by Frankfurt artist Heide Lauterbach, she participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Germany and abroad.

In search of new inspiration, Elke moved to Kuşadası-Güzelçamlı, Turkey, where she opened her own studio. Her work has been showcased in various exhibitions, including at the Ibramaki Art Gallery, the Ephesus Museum, and the Hemingway Restaurant in Turkey. She gained international recognition at the International Art Fair in Izmir in collaboration with the Arya Kamali Gallery.

Her art has earned accolades, including a Berlin Art Prize nomination for Herzensbrecher and finalist awards for Powerwoman at the Teravana Gallery in the USA. In 2023, she appeared in the 3SAT documentary "Almanya in Anatolia," discussing her work and cultural bridge-building.

Elke co-founded lumenart.gallery with fellow artist Nasrah Nefer, connecting artists worldwide. She now lives and works in Kuşadası, where she creates and teaches art, sharing her unique perspective on color and form.

Being nominated for the Berlin Art Prize for her work Herzensbrecher remains a cherished memory, as does becoming a finalist for Power woman at the Taravana Gallery in Italy. Participation in the International Art Fair in Izmir symbolized her evolution and reaffirmed her place on the global stage.
