At this moment in my life I was already beginning my political studies and to position myself in the world with a clear opinion regarding social injustices, and falling in love with the incredible adventures of the revolutionaries of the years 1900 - 1980, joining the radical activism of my country, later during my studies as an artist I discovered the spiritual sciences, mysticism, hermeticism, magic and religions participating in different rituals, practices, techniques and different medicines which took my state of consciousness in short moments to unimaginable idyllic, ethereal levels, that is what makes up my work, a deep desire to achieve unity, without forget the natural and universal social diversity, the I am wrapped in the we are, the unity of multiplicity
How would you describe/define yourself?
I'm Abraham Vazquez the last of the contemporaries.
When and why did you decide to choose painting design as a career?
For the moment I start to have memories I decide to be an artist.
What according to you is a favorite part of being a Paint Artist?
For me the art is a safe place against the techno industrial society the hyper capitalism the dehumanization of the relationships it's a safe place in my self in my soul inside of me, for me the art is the water to live.
What inspires you as an Artist? How do you visualize your muses?
I get my inspiration and my muses in my spiritual experience my social experience my human experience, I get all that ideas inside of me outside of me.
I get my inspiration in different places different activities I think my spiritual experience, all my paints have this flavor like mysticism magic introspection and the search of soul to be free to be happy to be in union with the universe.
What’s your signature painting element? And why?
I use in all my paintings esoteric elements about mysticism, I use political elements evolve in that atmosphere of mysticism and magic and asterism I think this is the most important element in my art
The painting you created are best without any doubt, but who and which things were your inspiration while creating such painting?
In that series of my paintings, I'm in a different process in my life a hard process in my life, I be alone long time in a different country with different people different culture and that lonely and that sadness made me create that pieces of art.
What’s the best piece of artistic advice you’ve heard? And do you follow it?
I can translate I can to express my spiritual process my internal process in the brushes in the oil in the canvas in the walls everywhere in poetry in videosis my way to express how that spiritual internal are walking and this process never gonna finish but I can express the steps in this way one two three, what kind of things I learn in that point in my life what kind of things I learn in this other point in my life because I learn to much in this process.
What advice would you give to someone just starting out in their career and hoping to make it big as an Artist?
Carl Jung he say something about just the suffer is the point of the spiritual growing, and I think the ego make me suffer a lot my selfish human condition make me suffer a lot and that situation of suffer and selfish and do mistakes and do mistakes and do mistakes always and be conscious about my human condition and how I hurt the people and how I hurt my self
And how I hurt my soul, I think that things is the gift the suffer the suffer the suffer.
To whom would you like to give credits of your journey till now?
Info a different kind of spiritual practices I do workout I try to have a good diet I try to have a good relation with the world around me my friends my family Y try to be happy I try to enjoy the life I try to be grateful that's it
I think is very important is very important because is the oil of my art my spiritual emotional condition if I'm good if I have hope if I feel grateful for sure my art gonna express that and if I'm in a hard spiritual process if I'm suffering the spiritual process for sure my art gonna be reflected that, that struggle that fight or that grateful and that happiness
